If time travel is assumed, there is the inevitable problem of the time-traveler's paradox: If a time traveler can change the past then can his actions prevent him from traveling to the past, setting up a contradicting sequence of events? Professor Samuel Johnson has developed a theory of time travel that creates no such paradox.
